Connecting with others on this journey of faith is one of biggest blessings of being part of the body of Christ. At Amherst Christian Church there are a number of small groups, studies and opportunities to serve within the body that are great connection points. More than “another item on the calendar,” getting involved with others can be a point of joy in the journey!  There are many ways for you to connect with others at Amherst Christian Church.

Here are several opportunities. We’d love to have you join us!

Living Stones

Meets the second Sunday of every month at 12:30 pm after Service.  Join us for a small luncheon before.

You also, as living stones, are being built up as a spiritual house for a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 2:5

The apostle Peter identifies Christ-followers, people like you and me, as living stones that are being brought together for God’s purpose. You see, no matter how comfortable or secure you may be going it alone, it is not what God has intended your life to be.

“The Living Stones” group meets to assist the team members in creating, “Their Story”. This is a story of your journey from as far back as you desire on your path to Christ and from there to the present and looking ahead to future. It is important that we live in the present with the future in sight.

Children’s Ministry

At ACC the Spiritual Formation of our children is our primary goal. Our aim is to raise our children to be dedicated followers of Jesus Christ, prepared and empowered to live for Him. To accomplish this goal we work with parents to form Christ in our children, nurture their faith as teens, to the end that their faith carries them into adulthood.
