worship with us every Sunday morning at 10:30

Our service begins with members of our music team leading us, as a congregation, in song. The music is lively and contemporary. A children’s church program for pre-schoolers through to high schoolers is offered during our worship service. The children begin in the service and are dismissed to their classes after a set of praise songs. Our worship service includes prayer and is centered around a consideration of God’s word, in practical and applicable terms. We observe the Lord’s supper together as a part of our worship experience the first Sunday of each month. Amherst Christian Church is a casual and friendly environment. We hope you’ll join us, and when you do, that you will feel right at home. Be sure to stay after the service for coffee and fellowship. We would love a chance to meet you!

Meet the team

Ron Tannariello

Lead PAstor

Pastor Ron was born and raised in New York City. In 1972 he and his family moved to New Hampshire when he took the position of regional sales manager for a division of Transitron Electronics. With the assistance of other servants of the Lord, he planted churches in Medford, Massachusetts and in Dover and Amherst, New Hampshire. Pastor Ron also serves as President of New Hampshire Family Radio (WLMW90.7FM)

Derry Tannariello

chaplain/Pastor

Dr. Derry, pastor and wife of Pastor Ron, is a transplant from Nevada County California where she served as the Manager of Chaplain Services for Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital and crisis counselor for the Nevada County Sheriff’s Dept. As a conference speaker, her inspiring messages of God’s love and provision have been a source of hope and encouragement to many. Derry has also authored several books that can be found at Freedom in Surrender Ministries.

Pastor Kevin moved to New Hampshire in 1988 after graduating from University of Massachusetts with a degree in Chemical Engineering. He spent almost nine years working at several engineering consulting firms, before attending and graduating with a degree in Theology from a Bible School in upstate New York. Following Bible School, Pastor Kevin served as a missionary in Honduras and Mexico for about 6 years, where he taught courses in Bible Institutes in Central America and then pastored a church in Mexico City. He married his wife Sylvia, and his two daughters Hannah and Kristin were born during this missionary period. The family returned to the United States in 2003, currently residing in Concord, New Hampshire. Pastor Kevin has worked within the Construction office at the New Hampshire Army National Guard since 2007. Pastor Kevin has been serving in the capacity as an elder, small group leader, and part of the video ministry team at his church in Pembroke, New Hampshire. In November 2019, Pastor Kevin with his family were led to assist Amherst Christian Church in the pastoral oversight of the church.
